Introducing the Queen City Quags, Cincinnati’s premiere competitive Pokémon team!

Much like the Mud-Fish Pokémon itself, the Queen City Quags are not top-tier competitors in the competitive Pokémon field. They always try to win with their favorites, and that’s saying something!

The Quags value:

  • Creative team building: You could use meta-defining threats… or you could use Quagsire!
  • Unorthodox strategies: The strategies we use don’t always work, but they sure are fun.
  • The Quag community: We are a fun, uplifting, and encouraging community of Pokémon enthusiasts!

In 2023, the Quags will take to the national VGC stage and strive to compete in regional tournaments across the Midwestern United States. Our ultimate goal is to attend the 2023 World Championships to be held in Yokohama, Japan.

If you want to catch up with the Quags, you can look for us at the following regional and international tournaments:

  • February 24-26, 2023: Knoxville, Tennessee
  • March 24-26: Fort Wayne, Indiana

The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet metagames will features many different elements and mechanics from previous generations, making 2023 the perfect time to get into competitive battling. You can observe and follow the Quags on their journey to the world championships by subscribing to our blog. Additionally, you can follow us on our social media and video streaming platforms.

Thanks for joining the Quag Community!
